It's the most wonderful time of the year

Ummm, hello?  Remember me?  It's been a while.  I know I've been away for quite some time now.  Summer was here and with 2  little girls, there wasn't much time to do much of anything.  I mean besides keep them entertained.  Oh yeah, and trying to keep my sanity.

Now that they are back at preschool a few days a week, I have time to enjoy things I like to do.  Don't get me wrong, I love pretending like I'm a mermaid and playing My Little Pony and Candy Land and whatever else they want to do.  I'm just really tired of pretending like I'm a mermaid and playing My Little Pony and Candy Land and whatever else they want to do.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

I love Halloween!  It's my favorite holiday. I love the creepiness of it all. My husband feels the same way, so we tend to decorate much more than we do any other holiday.   We have bought some things at the Halloween stores that pop up.  We usually waiting till the day after the holiday to get it all half price, but even that gets expensive.  So I try to make some things to fill in the blank spaces. Let me show you one of the things I've done this year.  Mind you, I find great ideas on the other people's blogs and try to make them my own.  I will give credit where it is due.

My Hungry Flowers

The instructions are here.

A little extra hot glue for the drool.

Aren't they fabulous?   My kids love them and so do I.  Although when you get the ceiling fan moving and they start to sway, I kinda wonder if the flowers will eat my cats.

I've got to run now.  I'll be back.  I promise!  I have much more to show you!

Until then check out the links on the side bar.  That's where all the cool ideas are.
