Look what I found!

While I was out in the yard this weekend, I saw a quick movement from the corner of my eye. It took me a minute to try to figure out what it was. It was so small and moved so very quickly I had a hard time catching it.

Once I had the little guy, I brought him in to show the girls. They loved him immediately and wanted to keep him. I don't know if they are illegal to keep in Missouri, but we will keep him for a while then let him go.  I made a little safe haven for him and put him up so the kids don't bother him too much.

We've named him Seamus.
I've been giving  him beer to drink.  As for food, I figure some Lucky Charms would do.  Aren't they always after me Lucky Charms?
I found some gold on him and I know there is more.  Just got to get him to tell me where it is.

His habitat will get a nice little bow whenever I find my ribbon.

Ok.  I confess.  He's not really real.

I know!!!  Fooled you right??

The girls and I were playing around with salt dough this weekend when I made him and his mushrooms.  After he dried I painted with acrylic paint.

I've got a few more projects I'll be showing you this week.

Stay tuned.

I'm in with the in-crowd.

  16. That's awesome! Of course I can't help but say I love the name Seamus. I wanted to name our youngest Seamus but my husband put his foot down and said no. :( So, if you need to send him somewhere, I'm in OK so it would be quick - we could meet at the border or something :)
